GMEX Imports is a family owned business that has been serving the home decor industry for more than 36 years. Our founder started at a very young age working for a political uncle that had many years of experience. He started working with the Mexican crafts in the ‘70s. There’s where he learns the business of buying and selling Mexican crafts. After his uncle decided move to another state our founder decided he wanted to go to the border with the US to export Mexican crafts with his uncle approval he did. His first lines were pottery and textiles. Even at a young age his customers started trusting him by asking him to get other crafts from Mexico. Lines that varied from pottery, talavera, ceramics, plaster pedestals to onyx accessories, wood furniture, and iron furniture to textiles and many other Mexican crafts.

Our commitment to our customers is good quality, good prices and timely deliveries while providing good customer service. Over the years we have grown and supplied many of the largest retailers in the USA. We have the experience and the infrastructure to supply the demand of our customers. We also maintain good relations with many independent factories throughout of Mexico that manufacture for us when demand is high.

Most of our business comes from referrals and long time customers that we thank them for trusting us with their business.

If the founder of our company is in the distribution center or factory when a customer comes to visit he will always come out to say hello and talk personally with the customer.
